Critical Hit Burlesque's Mad Marquis De Maltease joins Heather & Kyle this month for some geeky talk about burlesque in Portland!

So… weird show this month. We were going to talk about a Godzilla-esque tabletop game with Justin, but unfortunately our schedules didn’t sync up. So instead of having our guest this month simply promote his own show (the original intent), we asked the Mad Marquis De Maltease from Critical Hit Burlesque -who is a long-time geek- talk about the Geeklesque shows that have been the talk of Portland in recent months.

You may have heard us talk about Geeklesque before. Just as the name implies, these shows are burlesque with a geeky twist. It is of course not an all-ages event, but it is always a fantastic time and Heather & I have yet to miss any of the Geeklesque performances. That being said, we still kept the podcast mostly clean (for those who are listening with the youngsters). That being said, we ARE talking about beautiful scantily-clad women removing much of that clothing. So, I’m downgrading this episode (which is episode 39) from “clean” to “not explicit”. How’s that?

Even though this wasn’t a how-we-normally-do-things episode, it is jam-packed with stuff so make sure you investigate all of these excellent links very thoroughly!
