05.08.2018: Maintaining a Kaiju Collection w/David Eric Dopko

Kyle is joined by fellow kaiju collector, David Eric Dopko to talk about curating your kaiju collection.

Bullmark. Popy. Billiken. Bandai. Marmit. M1. X-Plus. Gigabrain. Toygraph. These are just some of the kaiju toy manufacturers you’ll hear mentioned in this installment of the podcast. That’s because my special guest is my good friend and fellow kaiju collector/aficionado, David Eric Dopko – and we’re talking about the process that we go through when cleaning, pruning and upgrading our collections. So if you aren’t familiar with these toy companies, maybe you should poke around on Club Tokyo for references — hopefully it’s not required but just helpful.

If you are new to collecting, I’m hoping this episode contains some insight and isn’t too confusing. If you are interested in joining any of the facebook groups that David and I discuss in the episode, check out the show notes below for places. And if you just can’t stand hearing about grown men talking about with monster dolls, this episode might not be for you…

Make sure to check out all of the awesomeness below!!
